The atmospheric Roody dance bar on Candidplatz, which opened in January 2024, is now bringing a little nightlife to this residential area of the Giesing district. The recipe for success: live music, DJs and craft beer. The eye-catchers of the location are two stylish, green sofa seating niches in a semi-circle shape in the rear corners of the room. Music plays an important role in the new dance bar run by Maximilian Heisler (Geyerwally, Frisches Bier) and Carsten Fay (Isarwahn). There is a small stage for live bands and singers as well as a DJ booth further back, which is used at weekends. The focus is also on beer. In addition to the classics Augustiner and Giesinger, the menu also includes beers from Tilmans, Hoppebräu and Flötzinger. The after-work beer is reasonably priced, with an upper limit of 4.50 euros.
